Lance Turpin, PA-Cturpin300        

Lance Turpin is a board certified Orthopaedic Physician Assistant. He graduated with honors in Physician Assistant studies from Idaho State University in 1999. Upon completion of his studies at Idaho State University, he completed an Orthopaedic residency in Chicago, Illinois at Lutheran General Hospital, a large level one trauma center. During his last two months of his residency training, he worked as lead resident helping to train youger Orthopaedic Physician Assistant residents.His work experience following his residency training let him to Washington state. He spent three years working in the Orthopadic department of Rockwood clinic- a large multi-specialty group in Spokane. Lance is a native of Idaho and returned to the Idaho Falls area in 2003 when he became part of the Summit Orthopaedics team.

Mr. Turpin believes strongly in medical education. He feels that it is important to take the time to educate his patients about their medical condition and to review all of their treatment options- both surgical and non-surgical. He is an affiliate faculty member of Idaho State University and volunteers as a ski patrol member at Kelly Canyon ski area. 

Mr Turpin enjoys skiiing, golfing, cycling, and motor sports. Mr. Turpin and his wife Jill have six children,Alyssa, Emily, Dayna, Grant, Brinley, and Maryn.
