Video Transcript

Hey, Dr. Cooper. Hey. What does a hip replacement look like? Can you walk me through the process? Yeah. So, here we have a patient that had a hip replacement because of a worn out hip. When we look at their other hip, this hip doesn't look too bad yet, but eventually it might need a hip replacement. When we do a hip replacement, we remove the part of the hip that is being worn out. And when we do that, we we cut out part of the bone and the worn out portion of the hip. We replace it with metal and hardware so that they have a new functioning hip to return to normal activity.
