A native Idahoan, Dr. Cooper graduated from Idaho Falls High School and BYU-Idaho. He subsequently finished his medical schooling at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his orthopedic residency training at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. After residency, he completed his fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and joint replacement at Texas Orthopedics under Dr. Tyler D. Goldberg in Austin, Texas.
Dr. Cooper strives to make his patients feel comfortable with their care and empower them to make an educated decision. He believes that all patients should be treated with the care and compassion that he would like to be treated himself. He is excited to be practicing in his hometown and to offer a high level of care to the community.
In his free time, Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with his wife, and their 4 children hiking, fishing, boating, ATV riding, and exploring the outdoors.
