Video Transcript

Hey, Dr. Cooper. Hey. What is the most common knee problem that you work with? Yeah, as a joint replacement surgeon, the most common problem I see is knee arthritis. Arthritis is the process of wear and tear and wearing out that cartilage. So, in our knees, the ends of the bones are covered in a cap of cartilage. And the cartilage helps pad and protect our knees. When that cartilage wears out, it can be treated surgical or non-surgical, but the surgical treatment for that is a knee replacement surgery where we replace the ends of those bones with metal and plastic to help alleviate people's pain. Pain that has slowly become part of your everyday life.
